Motorhomes do not fit the standard car decks used for saloons and SUVs. A measurement check against the carrier's deck clearance is the first step on every quote. Sub-2.40m vans travel on standard RoRo decks. From 2.40m to 4.20m we use Hua Hai, Hua Han or Grimaldi oversize decks. Anything above 4.20m moves in a 40ft high-cube container with a 2.69m internal height, or on flat-rack break-bulk.
Personal effects are accepted on most routes — bedding, kitchen contents and tools — declared on the packing list. Gas bottles must be empty and disconnected, fuel below quarter tank, and lithium leisure-batteries declared. Overland-spec motorhomes shipped to Mombasa, Buenos Aires, Halifax and Perth often travel with full kit lockers; we issue an inventory and seal at load.
